There a 2 different, but similar things here. Cookies are little bits of info that some websites put on purpose on your computer so they will recognize you next time you visit. There is also a History folder that contains info on every website you visit, even if cookies are not used. To get rid of either of them do this: In Internet Explorer: Go to Tools, then one that first page, go down to the "temporary Internet files" section and click on "Delete cookies" and "Delete files" Below that section is the "History" section. Click on "Clear History" to get rid of all that, and you can also reset the "Days to keep pages in history" option to zero if you don't want it to remember things anymore. |
