Picasso said "When a form is realized it is there to live its own life." When the form has the essence of being, detail is not needed to understand a form and what it means. So when I paint a as my subject matter, it's not one specific kind of cat but all cats. Art should be exciting, interesting and thought provoking and art should evoke a strong reaction.
